With such an expansive business which grows each day, Aster went through some tumultuous times managing accounts of their SBUs. With 27 SBUs which are profit centres, drawing financials for each one of them separately seemed like a cumbersome task. The accuracy levels were often getting compromised due to manual error, and that’s when Aster’s search for a good accounting software began.

  • Tracking of Different SBU Financials: An employee of the company, Mr Praveen Roy, wrote a macro to run financials from Tally to Microsoft Excel with one click. He was able to give out the financials of the SBUs in two parts very concisely and accurately with the help of Tally.ERP 9
  • Automated Export of Data: Export of crucial accounting data which are, Balance Sheet, P/L Account, and all other related schedules from Tally.ERP 9, are done automatically to Excel sheet in a single click, hassle-free
  • Bill-Wise Ageing Analysis: The direct benefit the company has got after using Tally is, Bill-wise ageing details of sundry creditors and sundry debtors, readily available statutory reports, cash/fund flow and periodical budgets
